My Story 

Iva grew up in South Jersey, right by the shore. The second she cracked open a chemistry textbook, she knew this was the path she wanted to take. Credit to her phenomenal high school biology teacher, she also took that up and is pursuing a bachelor in Biochemistry. As she journeyed through college, her favorite course thus far was organic chemistry, and that is how she ended up in the Moura-Letts laboratory during her second year at Rowan University. She is still learning all of the basics and enjoying learning everything about organic synthesis. Outside of the lab, Iva loves to watch true crime documentaries, paint, bake, and read.
